Logbook Servicing

When buying a new vehicle, the warranty that comes with it will provide a certain amount of financial protection if your vehicle’s original parts fail early in the vehicle’s life. To maintain your warranty, however, you’re expected to undergo regular logbook servicing with a reputable mechanic.​

We can provide logbook servicing for all petrol, diesel, electric and hybrid vehicles, giving you the peace of mind of a valid warranty.

Roadworthy Inspections

Before selling, trading or otherwise transferring ownership of a vehicle, and before re-registering one for use on Victorian roads, it must first be deemed roadworthy by a VicRoads licensed vehicle tester.​​

We can provide roadworthy inspections on all makes and models of light vehicles, and also conduct pre-purchase inspections for used car buyers, ensuring they get value for money with their next vehicle.

Brake Repair

Your brakes are arguably your vehicle’s most important safety feature, making regular checks of your brakes for wear and tear vital to safe motoring.​

We can repair and replace various key components of your brake system, from brake pedals and hydraulics to pads, discs and drums. We can also restore worn brake discs and machine new brake pads in-house, getting you back on the road quickly. 

Steering & Suspension

Most handling and ride comfort issues, from play in the steering wheel to body roll in corners, can be traced back to problems developing in your vehicle’s steering and suspension systems. ​​

We can offer drivers a complete service of their steering systems, as well as replacing key suspension components such as coil or leaf car springs, shock absorbers and bushing.

Clutch & Transmission

Trouble changing gears or staying in gear is indicative of problems with your drivetrain; coupled with odd noises or smells from under the vehicle means it’s likely to be a fault in your transmission.​​

We can make repairs and replace key components to your vehicle’s drivetrain, including replacing faulty manual or automatic transmission units, fluid changes and clutch repairs.

Radiators & Cooling

An overheating engine can very quickly lead to serious damage throughout your entire vehicle, and possibly cause a breakdown that leaves you stranded.​ If your vehicle’s overheating, pull over immediately to let it cool down, then carefully get your vehicle to Broadlands Automotive & 4×4 Service Centre for a cooling check.​​

We can replace faulty radiators, heaters and thermostats, as well as damaged head gaskets. We can also conduct coolant flushes to clear out your cooling system.

Diagnostics & Auto Electrical

Our workshop is equipped with the latest in diagnostic scan tools to help locate your vehicle’s trouble spots more quickly and efficiently, speeding up repairs and getting you back on the road sooner.​
